I got a Amazon.com gift certificate for Christmas and thought I'd take a look at Amazon for some reloading supplies and equipment. Lo and behold I found a Hornady LNL powder measure for $49.99. I'm pretty sure it is the one I need with my LNL AP press and can't believe it is less expensive than MidwayUSA. Also picked up a shell plate for 7.62X39. And it is all available with Amazon Prime - should have it by Thursday. Score.

I've gotten all sorts of shooting stuff from amazon, or some of the sellers on amazon. I don't reload but I've seen the places I've purchased items from having reloading stuff. I've never had a problem with amazon or amazon marketplace sellers.

Hold one there. The LNL AP comes with the powder measure. No need to buy it seperately.

    I hope I was not too late.:wow:

Nope not too late. Wanted an extra one that I could leave set up for 45 ACP - the other one for Rifle.

Thats cool. Didn't want you to buy something you didn't need.

Rifle never was a issue for me. Just slide the rifle spacer in and re-adjust by screwing the measure in or out.

You have to do it for every caliber change anyway. I find two presses, one for large primer and one for small primer was my biggest need. Cause you have to use a wrench to get the primer seater out. That way you have two powder measures anyway as well. :embarassed:

Pics or it never happened! :embarassed:

Man, wish I had two LNL presses.
Having to use a wrench to remove one seater then screw the other back in is a waste of 2 whole minutes!
But I'll tough it out and just deal with it.

Good excuse as any to own two though

Those do look nice together, even though I don't really need a case feeder the pic makes me want one.

Yeah, The whole using a tool got me. I had to have my two minutes back. Heck I am starting to like the OP's idea of another powder measure dedicated to rifle. I guess I AM that LAZY!

Its a great excuse for two presses.

Heck you use those fancy lock washers on your powder measure. You probably have to use a tool just to take yours off the press now. I think you should go back to the rubber band so you can be tool less.:embarassed:

I just ordered the Hornady Case Activated Powder Drop and Hornady Lock N Load Powder Measure (you would need both) and it came to $123.20

Midway ordering the same with FFL discount and shipping was $128.00.

So thanks, for the Idea, and the few bucks I saved!

    I think I gained another two minutes!:tongueout:

Well it showed up today. It didn't come with most of what you see in the photo above. It is going back and I'll hit Midway up for the whole deal.

Don't return it, you now need to buy the powder measure that goes on top of the case activated drop.
As far as I have seen they do not sell them together.

I tried to warn ya! :dunno:

I purchased the whole deal for $123.00 from amazon the day you posted.

It will be the same thing from midway.

You have to buy both peices to get the whole thing. Powder measure and case activated powder drop. :faint:

    Case activated powder drop
The picture is misleading it is just the bars and stuff to the right
