Um, that story doesn't really say much or prove much. Without examples it's just an opinion piece.

Yeah, I meant to put a question mark in my title but you replied too soon. :)

And why do people type "um"?

Dunno about anyone else but when I write formally I write formally.

When I'm writing on a blog or forum board, it's more of a water cooler chatting style so I say it -er- type it as I would whilst leaning against the water cooler.

Ummmm, I hope that makes sense. If not, just go with it anyway.

Then I went back to headquarters. Norberg and my boss were already on the scene.

There is an ad from Amazon on the side of this page right now for a Glock extended mag release. For me anyway.

I saw some stuff on there yesterday.

Even my wife has been pretty supportive of not buying from someplace I ask her not to when it comes to them not supporting 2A rights.

Amazon though... lol I pray... That would be the one place we would have trouble letting go of.

No kidding. I buy a ton of stuff off Amazon. Reading this thread just cost me $103 when I remembered I needed to get new grips for my golf clubs. Set of 13 Winn DriTac grips with tape, solvent, and rubber vice insert. :whistling:

Amazon is home of products that have given me work ahead of other people. There are some jobs i've gotten simply because I had tools that could accomplish the task(s) in such a more efficient amount of time it was easy to undercut and still make a tidy profit.

Access to tech you'd be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

Amazon has made me a lot of money, continues to do so, and grants me access to things otherwise not available.

When I went prime I made the cost of membership back in shipping savings in less then 3 weeks. They could prop up a commie government in some third world hellhole and i'd still buy from them.

Whatever else, at least i'm honest with myself over it.

Just bought a Hoppe's .45 bore snake from Amazon a few days ago. In the past, I've ordered handgun grips, holsters, .45 moon clips, etc., from them -- even looked at some T/C Contender barrels, although I wound up getting them elsewhere.

They don't seem to have any magazines in their line-up -- but truth be told, I can't recall if they EVER advertised magazines.

I can't say if corporate Amazon is inherently anti-gun -- but as long as firearm-related OEM's get exposure and sales through their high-visibility distribution -- that's at least a good thing.

Spent over $200 on Magpul gear last week for a recent "rebuild".
