I'm not exactly what you'd call a "religious" person but I've always dug Amazing Grace but I can't find anyones version I really like.

    What's your favorite version?

Anything played by Windjammer as the sails are going up. Oh wait, they went out of business after the Phantom sank with all hands. God bless their souls.

Seriously, after making close friends with the crew, I now cry every time I hear Amazing Grace.

Well, why don't you go to church and sing it yourself, you heathen. Ah, just kidding.

I like the LeAnn Rimes version, but I like anything she sings.

Il Divo does a terrific version. I am by no means a religious person but this song always gets to me.

I walk into a church, my feet start burning, the ground starts shaking, dark clouds form echoing thunder... :tongueout:

I am always moved the version of it on the bagpipes, I just wish I haven't heard it as many times as I have.

Those ladies are awesome. Do a search on Youtube for them and you will find they do lots of good songs.

There is also a male group called Celtic Thunder. I think you will their music as well.

The Pipes and Drums and Military Band of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. Solo piper on the first chorus, then the full pipes, then the pipes and the full military band. If you aren't in tears by the time it ends with the lone piper again, then you haven no soul.
