I am new to GSSF and will compete for the first time in the Amateur Civilian Cataglory this comming September. I want to pracice a bit for the competition. In doing so I want to make sure that my gun will be set up the way it needs to be for the competition. After reading the rules, I find them somewhat unclear (probably b/c I am using a loose interpretation of the word "stock"). Well my question is it legal to have non-stock sights(I have meps) and a 3.5# connector made by glock?

Any connector made by Glock is ok for stock. Any brand of sights are legal as long as they are conventional notch and post style. No rings, express or fiber optic allowed.

Correct, no express, rings etc. Conventional notch and post only like Bomar, Heinie, Novak etc

    Hi Jerry,
This is to you and custom Glock.Does Bomar make a adjustable that fits flush like the Dawson nad have you compared the Dawson adj. w/ the Bomar? This is for GSSF matches.I am curious about the front sight being thinner on the Bomar-is it thinner then the Dawson?

    Thanks ;W ;+

Hey, Mike. The Bomars are only available with the slight overhang. The Bomar front is .139 stock. I thin them to .115, it really improves getting "on target". I don't have any experience with the Dawsons, I'd need to see a significant benefit before I tried them.

Our bomars have a .118 front, the dawsons use a .135+ front. ALl of the dropin bomars hang over the back. I have used both and prefer the Bomars, the dawsons notch is way to shallow.
