I've been thinking about getting a Gen4 26 ever since they were released.
I think the one reason I didn't at the time was because of all the issues and so forth associated with the gen4's. I also wasn't crazy about the newer dull finish on the slide.

I held a new G4G26 the other day and fell in love with it. it felt so much better in my hand, and the grippier stipple pattern is such an improvement as well.

I also took notice that the slide finish seemed like the older shiny finish that I prefer.

So, can I expect this Gen4 to run as well as my Gen3?

The G4 Glocks IMO are the best Glocks ever made.

I don't have to sell you. Shoot one and you will buy it. I would never sell mine.

Here is a four range session review I did. 570 rounds of pretty much perfect.

    http://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?3570-First-shots-with-Gen-4-G26

The day I shot 6 pretty good FAST and then the next session running a variety of timed/scored drills drove home the point that there is really not much I can do with a G19 that I can't do with a G26 - for speed and hits. It's that shootable of a pistol.

I believe the Glock 26 is about Glock's best.

I love mine. It's 2mm smaller grip helps the draw on such a small pistol, IMO.

Can't comment on the Gen 4, but I can attest to (as I'm sure you can) just how great a shooter the Gen 3 is, I would imagine it's the same, a great all around subcompact...

    Do It!
I used to have a Gen3 G27...grip was a tad too big and slippery for me...

Now have a Gen4 G26, and after nearly 1,000 rounds through it...I am loving it!

Super accurate! It competes with my old Sig P225 for accuracy...and that is saying something!

Carries great IWB, under a simple t-shirt.

I love the handling of the Gen 4's with the Large backstrap.
I get some slide bite when I run any quanity of ammo with a large however.

I have a G26 gen4 and love it. Just as accurate as my G19 and more pointability. With a grip sleeve I put a G17 mag in it for a reload.

My G26 Gen 4 has been perfect. As I understand it the 26's where not the Gen 4's that had issues. Any 26 you will be fine. You won't regret it!

Go get one! You will absolutely love it. I shoot just as well if not better with my Gen 4 26 than my full sized pistols.

I bought the Gen 4 and it has been flawless. It took me a little time to get used to the shorter grip but it's really accurate and so easy to conceal IWB.
