I am officially on the Dillon Blue team and right now in the Waiting support group. This is everything I ordered, please let me know if I missed anything. I also ordered a couple parts from a guy on Brian enos forum, Primer upgrade and casefeeder thingy (Boxer recommended, Also thanks for the help Boxer) Later I plan on also getting a CC for .308, it will be cheaper this time around. All I can say is I am super anxious for it to get here, have been watching videos and reading all about it. I have already read the 1050 manual twice. I have 1,000 .223 prepped and ready to go when she gets here....:tongueout: I hope it likes Wolf primers because that all I have left.

Why did you order a bullet tray? It's free through BE... The DVD is useless, better videos on YouTube can be found IMO. The low powder sensor is pointless as well, save the money get a double reservoir from Uniquetek instead.

Wow, you don't mess around. Congrats on the top shelf machine. I have had a SDB for about 17 years. It has been a great little machine. Dillon is an outstanding company to do business with. Enjoy and be safe.

For those that don't know. Ordering through Enos is the same as through Dillon. You just get free shipping and a Bullet Tray for your 1050. Dillon drop ships it for Enos.

Do you know what they call a 1050 without a ton of components? Paperweight. Unless you have piles of stuff you'll burn through components in no time.

I would rather burn than every piece of components I have and not reload for a month, than swage another piece of brass.

Wolf SRM primers are the best for .223. I've tried them all. All else equal, the Wolf primers are more consistent than anything else I loaded. Same load, every primer tested and Wolf SRM gave me the most consistent results in accuracy, reliability, and chrono numbers. US primer manufacturers have some catching up to do.

That's a pleasant surprise. I was a tad worried but no longer. I just can't believe Wolf could be better than CCI etc, but I've seen heard crazier thing. I know a guy who has a ton of primers and I'm going to buy some off him, he has CCI and wolf. I was going to pass on the wolf even with them being cheaper, but no longer. Looks like I will be running the LOBO in my 1050.

    :agree:

I honestly don't know why people order from Dillon, when everyone says... ORDER FROM BE FOR FREE SHIPPING.

I have actually heard from several very reliable sources that depending on the order such as a press with multiple conversions, dies, tumbler, and other extras Dillon will do a deal and give significant discounts equal to even slightly better than a straight forward purchase from BE with free shipping.

Typically Manufacturers with a direct sales outlet do not want to compete with their distributors by giving discounts. Perhaps they just do it on a case by case basis. This is the first I have heard of this.

Your absolutely right typically, and my bad I should have stated my reliable sources being.... sponsored competitive shooters (both individual and teams) and firearms industry people.

About 20%. I would think sponsored shooters would get more, but I guess it depends on their rank.

I have no reason to not believe these guys... I've been shooting with most of them since I first moved to WA.

I know one of the local businesses here that has a shooting team bought a 650/1050 set up for the shop and each team member was invited to tag along on the order for a personal press of their choice for about 20-25% off.

Dillon has already sent a package. Its not the 1050 unless it weights 0.7lbs.
