35807273-E99F-4550-AEAC-3EBAFF07F989.jpeg FYI:Somehow I stumbled across a Sportsman’s Guide offering: a Gen4 19 MOS USA made with a threaded barrel for 799.Product No. UG1950203MOSTB. If you add Glock Night Sights, an extended slide stop and maritime spring cups, you would essentially have your own MK27 Mod 02, as issued by SOCOM. The only real difference would be the real MK27 have the threaded barrel spec’d as LH.
Earlier this week one of the LGS’s had a Gen 4 19MOS US made but with standard barrel.
I’m not affiliated with SG at all, other than having bought some stuff from them.

Some sites specify 13.5x1 metric LH threads for that model so I’m confused. I bought one, so I’ll report back with what I receive.

I’d like to know, besides all the details, what the label color is(purple, maybe)...

As to the label color, here’s pics of one and it’s red... https://www.gunbroker.com/item/878262189

Here’s examples like I was referring to before, they list is as metric...

Would Glock make some both thread pitches with the same model number or are some of the specs we’re seeing wrong?

My preference is metric and after reading your 1st post, I especially hope it is metric.

I haven’t picked it up yet, but I’ve confirmed mine is LH metric. I’ll post pics when I get it. Can tecolote or anyone confirm with certainty the other differences mentioned, Glock Night Sights, an extended slide stop and maritime spring cups? Or for that matter, any other differences not mentioned?

I handled a MK27 several years ago(and had pix until a computer crash last year) and it definitely had the extended slide stop and GNS, but of course couldn’t tell about the maritime spring cups. At that time I didn’t see any type of unit ID.

Thanks. I read on another site, a Socom armorer stated Socom guns do not have the maritime spring cups. Edited to add: he also said the only optics they used at the time were Docter and the Insight/Eotech MRDS.

Here’s pics of mine as promised.

As to the cups, they are listed in the MK 27 specs which is the extent of my knowledge.
Here’s some pics of MK27s, as worn by a SWCC crewman, and of one from a thread on Glock’s in SF on AR15.com.

I don't believe the change was made to standard threads until Gen 5.

A good buddy of mine is a currently serving active duty Green Beret Weapons Sgt. He said that they are using the Trij. RMR.

They use blacked out suppressor height sights so as not to interfere with their night vision.

    Great pics, thanks!

I got mine here for only $619, much cheaper than everywhere else. They only have one left. The picture is wrong on their site and so is some of the info (sights and thread pitch as examples), but I went by the UPC code and you can see what I got in the pics above. Your mileage may vary...
