A friend of mine from out of state might be around for the 10/18 weekend, and asked about going to a gun show. The only drivable show I'm aware of that week is up in Allentown.

I've been to the Valley Forge show many times and been to the Harrisburg show once, so those are my frames of reference.

How is the Allentown show recently? I've seen some discouraging posts on other boards: it's gotten smaller, fewer tables, more schlock. Is this true?

I'm from Ugg! New Jersey. I have been to the Allentown show many times over the years. It's what you make of it. If you're not looking for anything and don't have the
money to buy something, it sucks. Last time I went I needed a rear sight for a collector 25/20 Winchester. I found it there bought it and was happy as hell with
the show. The prices are usually high as hell. It's hard to get a bargain, but it's possible.

I like the Valley Forge show better.
