I posted a few photos on my recent Alaska trip at the above website if anyone would like to take a looksee. Keep in mind that the wildlife pictures taken in Denali National Park were taken through a bus window, and there may be a little distortion around the edges. It was a jostle for everyone to get a shot.

The others were in Glacier Bay National Park. I may add more in the future.

Very nice pics! I went to Alaska back in 1989. Flew from Anchorage to Fairbanks and then took the train back down. The ride into Denali yielded pictures very similar to yours. Did you almost get carried off by the mosquitoes when you got to the top at the lake? My butt sure was sore after riding that bus for so long. Your post brought back memories of a very pleasurable trip.

Great trip and skeeters were not that bothersome. We did the cruise from Vancouver to Seward, and then trained to Anchorage.
From there we took the McKinley Express train to Denali, and then bussed to Fairbanks before flying back to Seattle.

    14 days total.

Was always on my bucket list, and as a young man wanted to go build the Alaskan pipeline, but couldn't talk a friend into it so this is the best I could do.

MODS I meant to post this at the through the lens club if you would so kindly move it.

My 8th trip to Alaska is in the planning stages. Always a great time and the scenery is something I can never get enough of.

Back in '99 we flew from Atlanta to Salt Lake City then to Anchorage. Then a bus trip down to Seward to board the ship. I think I slept the first two days of the trip. Did the southern passage down to Vancouver. It was a great trip. I didn't get warm until the next July. But it was a great trip. I do wish we had done more side trips.

I appreciate the reply but my question was for the OP.

I consider Ramjet and myself to be friendly and was just curious. :wavey:

Thanks Buddy. I just thought it belonged in the Lens Club forum nothing more. I looked for the thread on pictures taken by members and was going to post there, but couldn't find it. Thanks for viewing.

No one has posted in that thread since mid-month, so it's dropped 14 pages down in The Okie Corral. Here is a current link to it, if you'd still like to post a link to your pix there:
