I went into a business. The owner asked me to look at something he traded for. It was a 1911 type.
I rack slide and loaded rd shows, fails to eject. I start in. “You should NEVER hand a loaded gun to anyone, at least tell them first, what if I didn’t check..”. Part way thru I stop. Look closer.
It was non functional. The loaded rd wasn’t removable, barrel was plugged.... it fooled me IN MY HANDS for 30 seconds.

I agree with others here. The important thing is to teach that pointing any weapon at another person is a really bad idea.

Unless its your finger, or a pop tart.

Unless your daughter is going to walk around with it in public, I'd not worry. She's being responsible and asking for a case.

Did you ask her why she bought it? What she plans to do with it?

Airsofting is a real thing. Lots of people do it. They have amazing facilities where people run around shooting each other with them in mock battles.

I use airsoft exactly for the training purpose.

I am looking at getting one for training, do you have a manufacturer your would recommend? I would like a CO2 powered metal slide 1911.

Nice shooting BTW!
