It would stink to get that thing in a traffic collision

On the ground or in the air?

I think I could live with the appearance of that thing.
I mean come on, you can freakin' FLY it.
Hell I'd play it up, get a silk scarf and leather flying goggles.

    $200k is a big sum for fixed-wing C-152 performance.

On the ground. I wonder what repair costs would be like.

Interesting. I have been reading over a pilot training manual this winter. Lots of issues with something like this. (but fun) :)

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.
    Nor can I.

He means the concept and product is nothing new. They've been around for years in various forms.

You still need a real car when you get where you're going. Yes, it can drive a little, but except for the quick dash for an out-and-in BBQ lunch, I don't see much utility. You can rent a car for $20 to 40 bucks just about everywhere.

Is that the propeller at the REAR of the fusilage?

I know nothing about airplanes, but that strikes me as odd...
