What is the opposite of Dihedral of a wing
I asked a few (3) of my instructors where I go to school training for my A&P and one gave me the correct answere. This is great fun learning the everything there is to know about everything and what makes what work . I graduate in Feb. 05 From the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Atlanta, GA.
We (my wife and I) just sold our home in Atlanta and purchased a new one here in Fayetteville, NC. It was just finished last week so the moving in job while I'm out of school for break. I'm commuting until I finish school, once or twice a month we haven't decided yet.
Interestingly enough, the Wright Flyer had an anhedral, as did its replica. I'm all for historical accuracy, but I think it would have been okay if they added a dihedral to make the thing fly a little for the crowd. PERSONALLY, as a pilot, I'm glad it wasn't a huge success - showed me how determined those two brothers were.
