    All I can say is................................

    WOW!!!!!!!!

I went up yesterday as a participant in the combat package my wife gave me for my birthday.

Six dogfights, some close formation flying, and I am hooked.
It was unlike anything I have ever experienced.

Happiness is looking up above you at 7,000 ft. and viewing the Atlantic Ocean!

The staff were all military aviators and they made everyone feel welcome and well cared for. They were professionals through and through, and after goal number one, (safety) goal number two was to ensure the customer had a great time. This they did in spades.

My opponent was a student pilot with 70 hours in his logbook and he seemed to enjoy it just as much as I did.

The sense of freedom and open space was intoxicating.

They use Marchetti planes that are a dream to fly. Incredibly nimble and responsive.

OK, I will stop blathering now. Just wanted to share. Most of you have already experienced these things, but for me it was an eye-opener.

It is fun on a whole new level isn't it? Don't forget the ultimate purpose of this game is closely aligned with your sig line. And that isn't a bad thing.

    Killing in three dimensions?

    Hell yeah, it's great!

Nothing beats seeing your opponent begin to trail smoke.

I notice you are in California. There, they also fly the Extra 300L
