Why have an age limit??? Im 22 but i know some 40 year olds that act younger than me. Plus some older generations should be able to dispense insight and advice to all us youngins.

Thanks KSS! I'm nowhere near as young as you guys, but scarlett begonia said it didn't matter when she was asking for help to get this forum. I have no problem staying outta here so you can have fun without us "old fogies" around...I'm just thrilled at your integrity and attitudes toward the world we live in today.

    You're the best!

My personal opinion is that if you restrict the age on who is allowed to post in here, then the votes should be recounted. Think you might find you no longer have a forum...

Now, I liked Logan's Run enough to name my bike after the main character, but I also respect the contribution other groups make to causes I believe in. Something about biting the hand that feeds you. And nothing stops us old farts from reading your posts, either.

    Carry on.

I was just joking about an age limit, we couldn't even if some wanted too. I agree with a poster regarding insight from the more experienced guys around GT.

So, how many of you guys and gals were raised around guns? At what ages did you learn to shoot? Do you shoot with your parents? How many of your friends shoot? Did any of you grow up in rural areas, or the city?

I've shot guns all my life. Shot my first shotgun(.410) when i was about 6. my dad was helping me hold it up and I didnt hold it tight enough, It came up and the hammer busted my lip. My older brother has it on video:). My dads gone now but he was GUN CRAZY, he was around guns all his life too. My mom still shoots with me sometimes. I have two friends that I trust with my life and both of them shoot. My mom and dad divorced when I was real young my mom moved to a town called Tallula(600 people, about 20 mins away from springfield Il) and my dad lived in Springfield Il. I lived in Tallula on the weekdays and went to school in a town close to there and lived in Springfeild on the weekends. I think thats all your questions:)... a little bit about me

trying to be the youngest? i believe TomSplasky has you beat. if i remember correctly, he isn't even 18. (no offense if i'm wrong).

compared to most of the members of this site, i feel young. i am 22, but i'm glad to see that there are more people out there that are around my age on this site. i also think it's pretty cool that we "youngin's" have a forum of our own.

I think the age limit for posting in the "Young Glockers" forum should be set at 150 years old.

If you could be appraised on "Antiques Roadshow" you are not "young" IMO.
