Hey guys. Cleaned my barrell of my G22 for the first time and after I was done there seemed to be a weird coloring on the barrell. I used regular Hoppe's Solvent #9. Barrell is smooth and all, just seems to have left streaks as opposed to just being black.

Any thoughts? I hope this made sense.

Its normal, mine does the same thing. After a few thousand rounds it will go away. I think it has something to do with the Tennifer treatment.

You're simply wearing away the black surface treatment on the bullet contact areas and it is as normal as can be.
