Advice for a G19 holster...

1942 14
So my gf's bday is coming up and I got her a new G19, she has a bad shoulder so she will probably need AIWB because she can't reach around too well. Any particular holsters I should look for? I do not carry AIWB for conceal draw purposes so I have limited experience otherwise, I just know not to use leather, so preferably Kydex. Any suggestions?

I carry AIWB and I use CLINGER holsters almost exclusively https://clingerholsters.com/. I have a flush-mount "Stingray" model with 0° cant. I can't tell you how much I like this holster! I also have a regular height 0° cant one, too. Depends on waist height and pants I'm wearing. I DO like the Flush mount the best.

Another decent choice is a BLADE TECH "Klipt" holster http://shop.blade-tech.com/index.php?cPath=1_13_131 because it is a bit smaller and may be more suitable for a female. Take a look, I like both brands and cost is $30 or less, give or take but EXCELLENT quality. Good luck.

You might also have her check out https://www.corneredcat.com/ which is a chick site  but has info on things "female" she might find interesting....

Also AIWB here and I've been using Vedder Light Tuck. I also have a Milt Sparks Criterionbut the Vedder holsters for both my 19 and 43 are my first choice. Plus they have a fast turn around time.

I plan on selling my Garrette Industry Silent Thunder GT https://www.giholsters.com/product-p/gt1000.htm but haven't gotten around to it yet. If interested send me a PM or email
[email protected]. I just got a Vedder for my 43 yesterday. I think I will like it. The problem with holsters is you need to wear one for a week or so even around the house to see how you like it. Most of us collect holster like our wives collect shoes! Whatever you choose be sure there is a reasonable return policy.

Another vote here for the Blade Tech Klipt! Also, the Blackhawk A.R.C. (appendix reversible carry) is a solid option. The latter is our shops best selling aiwb holster.

Another +1 for the Vedder Light Tuck. They ship in 3 days, give you a 30-day window to check out the holster, and have excellent customer service. I have one for my 19 and my 43 EDC.

I have two AIWB holsters from Harry's Holsters. They are nice, but I use them at the 3:00 to 4:00 position I had to take what Harry calls the "Claw" off to make it work for me the way I carry. Good Luck out there.
