This is an example of how the MSM distorts stories.

Chinese space junk narrowly missed hitting New York City, report says

https://www.foxnews.com/tech/chinese-space-junk-barely-missed-new-york-city-report

Now how close was it?

Space junk from a new Chinese rocket narrowly missed dropping down on New York City Monday night, according to a report, largely burning up in the atmosphere before some of the debris survived long enough to slam into West Africa.

OK. Maybe my geography is poor, but 7500 miles, or nearly 1/3 of the circumference of the earth is not narrowly missing.

Wait... Maybe NY needs some additional disaster funding because they were narrowly missed.

I’m sure the headline had a lot of people hyperventilating. Cuomo approves.

From an astrophysics standpoint, the space junk missed NYC by less than two seconds. HH
Article say a few minutes earlier re-entry.

Well damnit to hell. That Chinese rocket nearly hit me. Or you. Or...?

And I’m glad it didn’t hit New York City. I know it’s full of Lefties. As well as 80,000 people who voted for Mr. Trump.

My very talented nephew also lives there. Just graduated from NYU acting school. I have a long time goal of turning him into a Conservative. Sssshhhh!

Who would read the article if it said it almost hit Africa?

And the moon by a minute or two...
"Narrowly" is a relative term.
