For the guys that have 22 conversions on their Glocks, which Glock and what conversion did you have, I know of Advantage Arms are there any more did you like it, and was it as accurate as you wanted.

Does anyone think it`s just better to buy a 22 gun and forget the conversion for the Glock?

Edit for content.

I have the AA 22 conv. on a Timber Wolf Lower (G17). It runs as a dedicated 22 . I also have a Burris Fast Fire II as my sights and shoot rimfire Steel matches with it, I found a web site to by mags at a very low cost and load up the same as i do any of my Glocks.
It is great fun, shoots very tight groups but it like a lot of OIL!

I will try to get some photos up later.

I have the AA kit for my 17 and I love it. It feeds the Remington golden bullets just fine and with 550 rounds for under $20, shooting at the range is pain free to my pocket.

So Timber Wolf makes lowers, thats great. I seem to remember am I correct, was it TW that makes alloy frames of the Glock? I never, thought of that and I`d be interested in doing it. A picture would be wonderful if it isn`t much trouble, Thanks

I have the Ciener (could not pass it up for $100.00 used). It likes the Remington Thunderbolts the best and it feeds them reliably. I have not tried any of the expensive .22 rounds through it.
Edit: By the way, it is very accurate. I like the Ciener very much.

I waffled a bit on the choice, but ended up ordering the (Glockalike) ISSC M22. Actually cheaper than a conversion unit. It's in, but I haven't picked it up yet. Photos and range report forthcoming.

I have two kits. Both AA's for 19/23 & 20/21.
They work great with the right ammo (Rem. G.B. bulk & Mini-Mags) and not so well with others.

I have never checked to see accurate they are as most of my shooting is rapid fire, shooting from the draw and point shooting. I seem to shoot as well as any other pistol.

I also have an AA kit and Ciener kit for 1911's and they all seem to shoot the same except the Ciener is not as picky about ammo.

Are you happy with the accuracy of the AA/G17 set up?
The sights are adjustable on my AA kit and once I made a few minor adjustments, I found the accuracy to be more than acceptable. Ive only used the cheap Remington golden bullets and have not been distressed with the accuracy. I've read where other folks have bought target grade rounds but that is not important to me. I use my kit mostly for presentation drills and for increasing my trigger time in an economical way. I really do not have expectations that my groups will be super tight either.

Had an AA for the G17 and sold it. I am kicking myself for getting rid of it. I was shooting less often for a while, and figured that I didnt need it. It was excellent. Reliable and accurate. I have a Sig P226 with a 22 conversion, and it is not even close to being as reliable. The AA is worth every penny.

Really depends upon what you want.

The conversion kits give you trigger time with your glock for pennies per shot.

A dedicated .22 pistol will be more accurate and probably handle a wider range of ammo.

I have a AA kit for my g19/23 and I have a ruger mkiii. I wouldnt het rid of either of them.
