No ruling on Anthony indigency, Lawyer says ABC News paid her $200,000

By NICK FOKIANOS | FOX 35 News

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The case against Casey Anthony was back in an Orange County courtroom on Thursday. Her attorneys asked the court to declare her indigent so her legal fees would be paid for by the state.

In court, her defense testified that ABC News paid Casey Anthony $200,000, but those funds are now gone. On Thursday, ABC News elaborated on that testimony, releasing the following statement:

"In August 2008, we licensed exclusive rights to an extensive library of photos and home video for use by our broadcasts, platforms, affiliates and international partners. No use of the material was tied to any interview."

Judge Stan Strickland said he would issue a ruling in five days.

The judge ruled today that she is indigent, so the tax payers will foot the bill for her defense.

It just keeps getting better, don't it?
That's great... and no expectation of her to pay it back either.
