Seems we`ve all seen an awful lot of our GT members dogs who have passed recently.
I thought it would be nice to have a thread for our GT member to be able to post pics of their loved ones. My good friend Maxx702 just lost his best friend. He was the catalyst for me to start this thread. Maxx, your lil guy will be remembered here. My prayer`s to you, sir.

    I`ll start...
MissieGirl, passed away at 7-1/2yrs old, passed away on 4-11-2017
I miss you darlin, you`ll NEVER be forgotten, or replaced :(

Maybe we can make this a sticky so that everyone can easily find and share it.

    Walter.
The biggest little dog in the world. Defender of home against all UPS, USPS, or any other delivery people.

I buried him next to the garden, just off my bedroom window. I hope the hole in my heart heals soon.
    I miss you, buddy.........

This is me around 1975, 2 years after I got out of the military. Her name was Namu. we had hitchhiked around the country in the seventies and lived in both Northern and Southern California. By teh 80's I had settled down and got married and was doing construction work and a lot of times I took the dog to work with me. Half purebred GSD half Lab. Pink and black tongue. Smartest dog I have ever known and much better behaved than most people.

She died around 1987. And like it says in the song, "Mister Bojangles,"His dog up and died, he up and died, --After 20 years he still grieves."

Your right Boo, it is sad, for some, but i wanted to look beyond that thought of it. Some funny stories. Some awesome pictures. The good times we all shared with our beloved furry humans. I myself, really enjoy seeing others pets. I know seeing some old pics of my pets that have gone home to doggie heaven, brings back some fun times and good memories that i had not thought of until i saw a picture of them again. Sometimes the past, can, re-warm the heart again.

I wish i knew the right channels to take to make the thread a sticky so that people can keep adding to it.

Last week my Bassett hound Oliver had to be put to sleep. Started acting really strange , almost like he had dementia. Couple days at the emergency vet hospital and he steadily went down hill. They believe he had encephalitis. He was about the best thing my ex wife ever got for me
