Personally, I don't like the ergonomics of the cz.

Have sbr scorpion at the shop, factory sbr kusa, and kusa with brace.

I'd take the ak all day. The brace version is nice even. Not as cool looking as a triangle folder but just as functional.

People say to get the psa because of the scorpion mags. Imo it's a slight against them. Kusa takes factory Russian mags, which most ak enthusiasts would want at least one or two of.

The only reason imo to get the psa is because it's cheaper. The kusa is a pretty good clone of the real deal.

I'd go with the Scorpion. Even with upgrading parts it's still a good deal. That said, I'd rather have a HK or clone like the Zenith but it's a lot more money.

...and if he does he'll be out a grand total of maybe $100. It's an extremely cost effective platform and all the parts are plug n play.

Don't have to worry about that because I have already ordered the KP 9!

"Springs, single sided safety, and grip"? Even if they need replacing you are talking less than $100 in parts and under an hour of labor. I think the trigger spring is a necessity, but as I remember it was about a $20 fix. That's about as cheap of an upgrade as I've ever seen. Trigger fixes for AR's run into $100's and typically require complete trigger groups.
My CZ is a relative bargain compared to some of my other firearms, and has run perfectly. You shouldn't bash firearms you don't have real experience with.

I’m not bashing it. Just sharing the common thread of reviews I’ve seen across the Internet.

That common thread is the fact that it takes significant additional expense to get the gun to where it needs to be.

Since I don’t own one, I don’t know the specifics of what it consists of, but the feedback is clear and consistent. Since I’ve taken the time to read a lot of reviews, I thought I would share with him the benefit of my time investment.

I’m sorry you feel that reviewers opinions should be hidden from prospective buyers.

I have yet to hear somebody say that about the Extar or several other competitors.

    Kinda sounds like Glocks.

Anyway, even with the *optional* upgrades you might have less in the Evo than in the stock KP-9.
