I initially posed this question under the heading of "belly band holsters", but was interested in another carry method for my wife. Her primary carry method is purse-carry and once in a while fanny pack if she doesn't need her purse. What are some other ways that work for you? It would be nice if it were at least somewhat comfortable.

Thanks for any suggestions. BTW, she carries either a G26 or a Smith Bodyguard 649 (the stainless one).

My fundamental problem with purse carry is the several hundred purse snatches I have been to over the years

She can try a Smartcarry but will look wrong if she likes tight pants.

    She can always try IWB

Honestly I would try for a smaller, lighter gun if she can't carry on her body. Pocket carry, thunderwear, heck I have even seen a young lady carry a LCP in her bra.

She needs to try a ladies OWB holster that angles the but of the gun away from her ribs.

Just like the men, I would think at times the ladies can belt carry using a jacket or vest to cover the gun. For a shoping trip where the jacket won't be taken off this should work fine, especially with a small gun like the G26 or J frame.

My wifes husband likes her in tight pants. Any more suggestions? My goal this year is to get my wife carrying all the time this year.

M2, you are one of my heroes. Always shooting, and always hanging with the ladies. What other ways are they carrying? My wife is slim and dresses like a girl. Any thoughts?

Thanks for all the great responses. I guess this is the wrong forum to get responses directly from the ladies of GT. Should I have posed it in GNG?:dunno:

How many husbands does she have? That's the bad kind of polygamy.

Never mind, I don't want to know. :whistling:
