Are any of you guys in round restricted states using the G32 successfully with a 10-round magazine?

I dropped an OEM G32 barrel into my G23RTF2, and I can't get anything to feed, nose diving, with either a 357 SIG or .40 10-round magazine. Yet, it feeds fine with a G22 10-round magazine. I've tried the G22 follower and spring in the compact sized mags to no avail. It seems to be a problem with the compact magazine shell construction. I can't see anything else it could be.

I don't mind using a G22 for reloads, but I want to get a compact sized mag working for the holster.

Has anybody gotten one to work?

I ordered a +10% mag spring to see if that will help.

That's a good idea, LJ. Let us know how it turns out.

    That's good to know.

I've got some other things to try first. I want to try the ordered spring, and i want to try the 32 357 SIG mag with .40 in the G23 to see how that functions.

Since it's a replacement barrel, although OEM, in a G23 setup, I'm not sure if they will consider it their problem. My guess is they won't deal with hybrids.

It's strange how the G22 10-rounders work great, yet the compact 10-rounders won't.

What generation Glock are you shooting?

I have a Gen 3 G-32 and I bought a used G-23 10-round magazine at a gun show about five years ago. It takes every bit of strength and patience I have to get the 10th round into the mag, and even then the sides of the mag bulge out.

That said, I've shot it fully loaded many times and have never encountered a single glitch. The G-23 used mag is as reliable as the two 13-round G-32 mags that came with the pistol.

I'm using a G23RTF2. It's strange that the G22 10-rounder works great, but neither the 32 or 23 10-rounders will work. It'll nose dive into the feed ramp and with a smack on the bottom of the mag the round will chamber. Once the mag is down to 5 rounds, it starts feeding okay.
