A Question about shipping ammo

    I was wondering when shipping ammo what guidelines need to be followed. Thanks for any help in advance

    Take it to UPS and they will ship it marked as hazmat, I think it says 'OPMD' or something on the box. Same as when you look on a box of spray paint.

    The box has to be marked "ORMD" it requires no hazmat. primers and powder do. loaded ammunition is a Comsumer commodity and not considered dangerous. make sure the box is extra strong and tape the seems up so it will handle being dropped.
