The liberal pagans of Hollywood have struck again. This movie and the book it comes from are deliberate attempts to corrupt and pollute the Christian faith.

    http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/bewa...t-shack-movie-opening-tonight-across-country/

"...The movie, like the book, presents ‘another Jesus’ not found within the pages of Scripture, and presents the Trinity as being both male and female.

God the Father appears as a black woman named “Papa” perfectly fitting right in with the current gender confusion being promoted by the LGBT and the Far Left Liberals.

The Shack reduces Almighty God to a kind of Mormon “god-man” who isn’t really much different or better than his creation. This is NOT the God of the Bible.

... you are then presented with a false gospel about a mythical god who judges no one and only offers “love, peace and hope”. But it’s a false hope from the start.

So when The Shack has their Jesus character say that unconverted followers of religions of Mormonism, the JW’s, Buddhists, Muslims, etc can come as they are and stay as they are, that’s not just a different interpretation, that’s absolute heresy.

If you are a Bible believer, you won’t fall for this New Age slop for a second...

For all you “Sunday Christians” who walk around spouting “don’t judge!” this movie views you as its target.

The Shack presents a phony “Jesus” with a false gospel, designed to deny Biblical truth and deceive the masses."

Do you think they should be allowed to make this movie?

How about the fiction of C. S. Lewis? Does it meet your approval?

Since this is a debate thread and you called them out about their phony Jesus, is the topic of the thread about who believes in the phonyest Jesus, them or you?

I can just imagine a Jew, long ago, saying, "If you are a Torah believer, you won't fall for this redemption slop for a second.".

Yes, they should be allowed to make it. But people need to be warned about it.

We already have too many people walking around with the wrong impression of Christianity.
Sadly, a great number of them are Christians.

No wonder people don't understand the message of Jesus Christ, the Trinity or God's plan for our salvation.

You can't get religion from Hollywood, or the History Channel.

The book was released back in 2007, well before the current tranny issues.

By the way, did you know that "spirit" was a feminine word in Hebrew?
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_of_the_Holy_Spirit
But I guess the KJV is the version we should go by(?).

Look beneath the story line on the surface.
    You might be sadly disappointed.

That's a perfect example of what is wrong with Hollywood and Television.

That show, Lucifer, portrays Satan as a likeable fellow. No different from any of us.
That's dangerous, especially to non believers.

Satan is a monster, determined to destroy God's creation.
He is pure evil. There is NO good in him.

He needs to be portrayed that way in movies and TV.

Kent Hovind liked it, saying - "The Shack gives the best illustration I've seen of the Trinity.".

Again I ask, have you read the book? Have you taken the time to do the research on your own, or are you just forming an opinion based upon reading a review or seeing an advertisement?

Read the book, form your own opinion, and do it with an open mind - without preconceived notions of blasphemy. Don't read more into it than is actually there. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised. Honestly, it's a very spiritual story, that is full of metaphors and parables. It is in no way anti-religion. In fact, quite the opposite. I think you'd find it goes a long way towards explaining the bible in a Christian way in a method that even the lowliest lay-person could understand. I found it to be very enlightening, plus, it renewed my intertest in the Bible.
