A few years ago I found a hunting knife in the woods. It had been there long enough for the leather scabbard to rot away but the knife was still like new. It has a bone-looking handle with a 4" blade. The only markings are on the blade and it says Queen Steel #82 and then made in USA underneath. I tried a search and found nothing. Can anyone tell me anything about this knife? Thanks in advance.

I would ask over on Blade Forums. Include a pic.

Thanks for the replies. It's quite a bit older than the ones pictured but I at least have a ballpark figure on the quality and value of it. I'm sure whoever lost it so many years ago was sick about it.
