My boss called and ask if I wanted to check out Adel Outfitters in Adel GA, that they had a 18000 sq ft store. I told him heck yeah. We headed out there. I had a Uberti lever action .357 mag in the truck and my G19 on my hip. We were quite impressed with the selection of both new and used guns. Nice place. The new store is huge, and they have expanded their inventory. They carry lots of quality items and prices where on par with the market.
I picked up a Springfield Armory M14 Scout, and it was love at first sight. I have always wanted one. I ended up trading the Uberti in on it and forking out a chunk of change, but I am extremely happy. Its NIB and they gave me a 20 mag and 2 boxes of .308 for free. Excellent experiance. Great gun!

    Nice M1A!!!

That looks like a full size rifle. I thought the Scout had a 18" barrel.

Ive been messing around on the net looking. Your correct, this is full size. I guess SOCOM is 16 inch then Scout is 18 then mine is 20? Still learning.

Someday I'd like to have an M1A. Preferably a SOCOM-16

I was there two weeks ago traveling on business. I was shocked at how many nice used pistols they had. I thought prices were very reasonable. It was hard not to walk out with one of their used Smith wheelies. I will be back soon though.

    Congrats on the rifle.

That looks nice! I toy with the idea of gettting one ever so often. What kind of deal did they give you, if you are comfortable saying?

    Congrats on the mice M1A!!

When I first saw the thread title, I was thinking you bought a Polytech AK-47.
