I’ve seen one other over the years. I’d be all of it if it was a C :animlol:

I wonder if it was a surplus order for a police department or something then just got sold to a distributor.

I’m pretty sure I saw that 26 listed here locally last month. I know of two others, one being a 19 and the other a 17
    Here’s a pic of the 19
It slipped thru the QC cracks and made its way to a certain friend at Ameriglo. F9B7DE14-3E2C-4FC3-8BF9-5E0E2A16C5C3.jpeg

Worth whatever a willing buying is willing to pay to a willing seller.
Might be worth more or less in the future.

I've seen a revolver with the WRONG caliber markings, but never seen a "blank" handgun.

Heh. Okay, it's safe to say I probably deserved that for using borderline-poor terminology...

Weird how you can get so locked-in on what you're saying, that you use a combination of words that makes perfect sense in your mind but has a very different meaning when said out-loud.

It’s been a few weeks since the local add was posted. If my memory is correct seller had it posted for $800 and had specific trades they would accept.

Doubtful. Those would have all of the regular rollmarks, and wouldn't have a matching serial number.

This Gen 4 Model 26 has the all of the correct roll marks on the right side; Glock logo and a serial number with matching barrel (serialized). The frame has the same matching serial number plate and everything is consistent with a standard Gen 4 model 26, except the left side of the slide is missing the large "Glock" logo, a "26Gen4" model mark, "9X19" caliber mark, and the country of origin mark "AUSTRIA." The matching serial number and Glock logo on the right hand side eliminates this from being an "aftermarket" or non-glock slide, and the same numbers do not support the idea that this is a Glock OEM replacement slide, as those are designated with a serial number code (S) and are still produced with the appropriate "roll marks" on the left hand side.

Other than what was already discussed above, does anyone have any additional reliable information on what/how this could have happened? Is this a purposeful technique/procedure previously used and approved by Glock (known for PERFECTION) and is there a history of these "blank slides" being out in the public? Or, is this just a manufacture and QC mistake that slipped through the cracks?

    For comparison:

Im still looking for an opaque Glock frame - you know they tried it! The injection molding team had to have made an attempt, late one night after an office party? It's out there somewhere. H&K made them!

I got distracted and didn't get a chance to bid on this. I would have topped that winning bid. Old age...

I am excited for you! It would have gone great with my Gen4 collection but... forgot to get on there and bid... keep her safe and if you consider giving her up dont take it to a pawn shop...

Received this today from my local FFL and took a quick look to make sure it was what I hoped it would be. I was also hoping it was NOT a hack job. It doesn't appear that is the case. This is an original factory Glock 26 slide with missing roll marks. I used a micrometer to measure and ensure equal measurements on each side along the rail guides. The slide finish is consistent with my other Gen 4's, and there are no seams or signs of any re-finishing or painting. The slide has the proper manufacture codes and the Glock logo and serial numbers are consistent with Glock OEM slides. All serial numbers are correct and matching, to include box and SKU numbers on the box label.
