A free program to protect folders is needed

    Yep. I need a program like shareware. I just want to put my doc folder under a lock. Any Ideas on what to use?

    25mb limit thought, I use Folder Lock they have a shareware but I bought it and love it.

    I have been trying cryptainer. Looks like it would work if it allowed bigger folders to be locked. I messed with folder lock, no luck for me. Of course I could just not be using it right.I guess I will have to pruchase something. Thanks for the help guys. I am going to keep looking a while tho.:)

    With folder lock it actually makes a directory called "Locker" where your files go. You open the software, enter the password, press enter and the "locker" folder opens. I also liked it because it can be put on a USB drive and work on any other machince without actually installing the software. If I remember right it uses like 448 bit encryption.
