Let's keep in mind this ex-GI is innoncent until proven guilty.

That said, if he is found guilty, he'd better hope the U.S. Government handles his sentence instead of the government of Iraq.

With his case being handled in the federal court system, as opposed to a General Court Martial, he will have a tough go of it. He will be appointed a federal public defender who may or may not have any experience with the military.

If this guy is convicted he deserves the ultimate punishment.

Killing kids who are non-combatants or for that matter anyone who is a non combatant is morally wrong.
