I have a tough decision to make. I have 2 semi custom 1911's - a Wilson CQB, and a 1.5" hard chrome Les Baer SRP (thanks BAC!). One has to go, but I'm having an unusually difficult time making the decision, hence this thread. To me, the Wilson is a bit cleaner, more refined. I'm anal about how things look inside and out and the Wilson nails it. The SRP looks great, but it's a little less clean - mostly on the inside. They both shoot great, but the SRP is insanely accurate. Even though I prefer the CQB aesthetically, my gut is to keep the SRP and sell the CQB. I'm into the SRP for a better deal, and I think the CQB is a little easier to come by if I wanted one down the road. There is also the thought that a SD pistol needs to be a tool, not a pretty safe queen. Anywho, pictures to assist: Please no - "keep both, sell a kidney" responses I need to let one go - thoughts?
