Just had my 9x19 Major Open Gun reconfigured by Tom Novak. Basically I decommissioned the Caspian slide and went with an original Glock slide added two additional bleeder ports to the barrel. I'm telling you it's sweeter than sweet.

I'm also having another slide configured using the KKM Hybrid barrel for Glock with a 3 port compensator. I should be receiving that slide by late October.

Excellent! 9mm major was long overdue in USPSA. Now that the gun is complete, what load are you planning to use? Regards, C.

Very nice. What recoil spring are you using? Also, have you found any factory loads that will cycle it reliably?

I'm using THE Accessories Captured Tungsten Guide Rod with an ISMI 15 # spring. Since reloading meets all of my ammunition needs I can’t speak for factory rounds. I did try some 135pf loads and while it felt like I was shooting an Airsoft pellet gun it didn’t cycle reliably.

I am going to order one immediately, the only thing I dont see is a mount for a glock 21, I'll call tomorrow, man you never can tell when you are going to see something you positively cant live without, that is the slickest red dot I have ever seen. ;)

With as little surface area as those comp baffles have, does it still shoot soft?

It shoots extremely flat and considering the loads that I'm using soft.

Be careful what you ask for - I had a very similar sight after lusting for one for years. Sold it two weeks later - they aren't for everyone... I'd try one out first.

Raul, is the N350 load already compressed at that powder level? Thanks.
