9mm to 7.62x23 Conversion

Hey guys! So I was doing some reading for ****s and giggles. Anyway, I noticed that the old Russian 7.62x23 round has a lot of similar dimensions to 9mm. Specifically, that the size of the brass at the base is the same size. I am curious if anyone has made or tried to modify either a G19 or some other Glock handgun to fire this caliber?

You could probably chamber one for a .30 Luger round AKA 7.65x21 It's OAL is only 0.006 longer than the 9x19.
