I sold my '37 to a buddy, and it looks like I'm gonna campaign a G-17 this year. I've heard somebody shoots a real soft 9mm load...Can anybody tell me what they use..I'd like to try it. TIA

My load is about 110-115PF. Zero 108 jsp, wsp, VV n310, 1.115.

Dont forget though that GSSF is alot more about accuracy than recoil.

    Thanks for the replys!
My interest in softball loads comes from the fact my wife hasn't shot for 12 yrs-due to arthritis and carpal tunnel syn...she had both hands
done in Dec and is going to give it a "go"!!!
This would be a perfect application for a 380 Glock, but...
In leiu of that, I want to try to get her something that isn't snappy.

Do any manufacturers make a quality "soft load" that would be good for matches?

I want to try out some of these "pillow soft" loads that I keep hearing people talk about. Anybody want to sell me a couple rounds of your best "competition" 9mm loads? Just like a dozen of them so I can see what all the hooplah is about with reloads?

No sale, but if you want to drive to the other side of the state, I'll show you. Bring your G34. And an open mind.

There's not much thats going to keep me away from Marietta GSSF this year. I should be able to bring a box stock G17 (worst shooting G17 EVER) and my G34 (best shooting G34 ever).

I've never been on that side of the state... I keep hearing banjos before I can make it to Hocking Hills and I quickly turn around ;f

I bet its alot easier to find good shooting areas over there.

If you want factory, the WWB 115gr loads have a following, including Factory Tony. :)

I was chuckling... but then had to stop and ponder the possibility that such an event actually exists... I'd say the odds are even that you are describing something that actually does go on in SE Ohio.
