    So, in your opinion as the builder, a built-in ramp 9mm barrel is better?

    I have built 9mm with non ramp barrels but with carbon frame . I prefer ramped barrels for 9mm and especially for high pressure rounds like the 10mm & 40sw .

    I use ramped barrel on all alloy frames.

    Beautiful pistol. I've often thought about getting a 1911 in 9mm. Just haven't found one local.

    I have one Lou built that is very similar to this one. I can't brag about that thing enough. It's just a great gun.
