I saw the thread title and immediately thought "Faa DOESN'T have one?!"

Only one I've ever played with was a Colt. Was fun as heck to shoot, but would have been more fun with a short barrel.

    I've got a couple.

    Get extended SS pins.
    SBR it.

    Anything but Russian ghetto ammo.

The Hytech block follows whichever one I'm using. I don't trust the modified mags... though they haven't really been that bad.

Wow those are some nice rifles! My compliments! I'd love to have an arsenal like that someday! I am interested in getting a 9mm upper to use on my AR's lower, got any suggestions for a decent one?

If I remember right the uzi mags will not hold the action open after the last round is fired. RRA with the magwell block should accept the steel promag magazines that do support this feature. Mine is a frankenstein 9mm SBR.

The main guts are M&P15 lower, DPMS parts kit, RRA 2 stage trigger, CMMG upper, Tros 5" barrel, Spikes 9" handguard, SWR Octane-9 HD, and Magpul furniture. Absolutely love the rifle.

We have the SMG version at work. Semi/3rd burst. Wish it was full auto!!

Nice weapon, but I like my Uzi's more.

olympic dedicated 9mm, uses glock mags. was a range gun for few years, guy i know that works there said it never had an issue. so far after a few hundred more rounds it has been flawless and accurate.

I have a Colt 9mm AR and love it. I have to say its probably my favorite AR. I am now saving to buy a flat top model. I was lucky and was able to find 10 of the colt contracted C-products 32rd mags at the gun show. The lady let them go for $15 bucks a peice. I took all of them. :)

shot a kit gun a buddy built. i don't remember where he got the kit but it used colt mags. it ran like a sewing machine and he never had a problem with any type of ammo. the only bad thing i can say about it is i have to wait till next year to build me one...

Same here. I got rid of the plastic shell deflector and installed a regular dust cover on my AR6450 and I'm saving for an AR6951 (flat-top). Shooting my 6450 is a lot of fun.

I have a Rock River AR pistol.
I may SBR it some day, but it is a hoot to shoot with a single-point sling.

Very well, thank you. Runs like a top.
It is Rock River's stock carbine-length tube for AR pistols - it will not accept a stock.

I was just being cheeky there--but it certainly is very fuctional. If I had to go that route I would pick it too.

I know - I was just playing it straight.
Much easier to SBR a pistol (change buffer tube and add a stock) than a carbine (cut or replace barrel).
