9mm 4th Gen grip

    I'm sorry I'm sure this has been asked/answered before but I just want to reconfirm. On the new 19 and 17, you have the 2 backstraps included.



    No backstrap = smaller than normal
    medium = 3rd gen
    large = 45/10mm frame


    Is that correct? That's what I remembered reading. Held a 19 in the gun store today and the guy said that large was 3rd gen size, though the internet is telling me I'm right. I just wanted to make sure.

    Also, the finger bumps are just as bad! That was the entire reason for me wanting the new one. :upeyes:

    Thanks for the quick reply JR. I don't have a beef specifically with 4th Gen, just the 19/23/32 finger bump placement.

    I'll probably end up getting a used 19 and grinding them off. About the Timberwolf frame, I don't know how well that would fit my hand either.
