What are the difference between the two?
I believe they are just the same. ;f
No difference; "9mm Luger" is the SAAMI name for the cartridge, and "9x19" is the CIP name for the cartridge.
Am I right in assuming that the 9 X 21 is the same too?
No... the 9x21 has a longer case length than the 9mm luger.
What the Judge said. 9x 21 are used in Europe where 9x19 are not allowed for civi use.
Jojo Vidanes used to use this cartirdge in IPSC. It is a pocket rocket. Way higher pressure compared to 38 super due to decrease case volume.
AKA 9 mm Parabellum. Bawal for civvies in Europe? Hmm...dito sa Pinas puede, and puede pako mag 16-rd magazines, guess it's not all bad being a gun owner in the Philippines compared to the Americans and Europeans.
yeah, some countries in europe makes ownership of guns chambering military cartridges illegal. so the 9x21. dont know the logic. in the staes, the awb just expired which makes ownership of hi-caps legal. darn them glock mags, soo expensive here and only 20$ a piece there.
