    I focused on WWII planes as a kid but built an F4 also. Thought it was bad ass looking with the curves and angles.
    Also thought the USAF camo painted ones looked the meanest!
    Saw a few at Scott AF base near my home town in IL.

    All that beautiful ordnance...that was my job. As an F-4 ordnanceman in the USMC, we were tasked with maintaining electronics and mechanicals of these beasts which caused bombs, missiles, rockets and guns to leave the aircraft when desired in addition to just loading them.

    If You Ain’t Ordnance, You Ain’t S__t!!! (IYAOYAS)That was our mantra.

    All of those pics looks like the pics of the clowns in my cruise book...just the uniforms are older. Maintenance Control - I was always running back and forth to there to sign off birds, picking up/dropping off MAFs, CDI business, and whatever.
