    It only has a 180 Day Seagate Limited Warranty ... that doesn't sound like a very good deal when you can buy a new one for about $22 more and get a 5 year warranty.

    I don't know if I would trust all of my data to one HUGE drive. One dead sector in the wrong place and the directory structure is FUBAR.

    I have an old PIII box with a RAID 5 in it. Performance is better, data is available to ALL of my computers and if one of the drives die the redundancy keeps my data alive
