    I realize it's neat... but what exactly is the point? $2700 for a flash key? I can build a lot of 2.5" drive boxes for that. Heck, 8GB drives are under $300 these days. 4GB at about $100. Call me when they don't cost more than a decent used car...

    No point, people have pointed out running an OS off it but it would be unGodly slow.

    Might not be as bad as you think. Depends on what you're doing. I don't see access and transfer numbers for it. It almost has to be a giant parallel array, which would make for better speeds. But if you run a paging file on it, you're going to wind up with substantially less than 10yr of life.

    Oooohhh... I just noticed that it's USB1.1 compatible (are there actually any 2.0 devices that aren't?)... :upeyes: Transferring 64GB at 12Mb/s sounds like fun. Fun for a very, very long time.
