Spent the last month at the range for requal at the prison I work at. We have 6 model 22s that we use for range/training. The guns are about 8 years old and have been used hard. We had 2 slide stop springs break,and when we broke them down to clean we found 2 broken locking block pins.The shooters did everything they could do from limp wristing to loading 16 rds in the mag to stop them but they could not stop the glock. The only thing that stopped one was when a trainer used spray oil to lube it up.What a gun!
Just wanted to add that the ruger mini 14 and rem 870 will take a beating and keep on running also.

he took the slide off and hit it hard with spray clp. oil was everywhere he did wipe out the chamber and barrel. it didnt run long after that.

^Yeah, if you get lube into the striker channel they really hate that. I bet the gun just starting going "click" with light strikes.
