Decided to take my heat shield off my 590. Screws out, but it looks like I need to take my bead off. What's the best way to remove the bead? I'd like to save the heat shield and bead, but don't see a easy way besides putting scrapes in some metal.

Had the heatshield on for years. Thing has some rust on it. Lots of dust/debris under it. Don't really need it and have outgrown the 'cool' factor of the heat shield...

Just some pliers carefully should take it off or see if you have a nut driver that will fit over the bead to take it off. Mine at least has a hex head on the base of the bead.
