It's actually .50GI....and not at all comparable in power to 50AE.
It's actually .50GI....and not at all comparable in power to 50AE.Has anyone tried one of Guncrafter Industires' new Glock 20 or 21 conversion units to 50AE yet?
Their claim is you can now have 44 magnum firepower in semi-auto. They have had a conversion out for a 1911 for sometime.

You lose a lot of mag capacity though.its actually pretty cool.no overkill .500 hollowpoint at 45 speeds.great self defience round
From what Ive heard about the 50 GI, and that's not much, is that its basically just a bigger 45. About the same velocity and similar power, although I'm not sure about that, just a bigger bullet.Has anyone tried one of Guncrafter Industires' new Glock 20 or 21 conversion units to 50AE yet?

Seems like an expensive way to get 5 100ths of an inch. but that's just me.Yep.
Energy levels are very similar to 45ACP.
The 50GI has about a quarter of the power of the 50AE.
