I can’t imagine any of this community not already having the tools and plans in place for a bad/SHTF situation, but maybe this is for someone…

Yep, I’m good for guns, but once this latest shortage silliness ends, I’ll be buying an obscene amount of ammo and reloading components. Should be a bunch on unused ammo and lightly used firearms at yard sales in a couple years.

To those in blue states, yes I can legally buy Firearms and ammo at a yard sale in AZ. No background, paperwork, or permission slip. At least for now.

You should have purchased a gun for self protection long before now. Most folks wait to the last minute and that is very foolish. It also goes for ammo and every one should have stocked up for their personal needs. Regards to all at GT and now more than every you have to be careful out there.

As it turns out, I've bought every gun I've ever owned before the 2020 election.

Yeah, I'm not gonna let myself get down to my last few thousand primers in anything again if I can help it.

That's not nice rubbing their noses in it like that. The poor Cali crew.

Haven't seen pistol primers in months. Never thought about primers much until one day...poof! All gone and never to return. We used to have a few rifle primers, now they are all gone too. Once in awhile a small pack of shotgun or .50BMG primers are on the shelf. That is it.

Yup - but the shelves are getting mighty empty.

I've been checking out various stores here in Montana and there's
    NO 9mm
    NO 10mm
    NO 40 cal
    NO 38/38spl
    NO .308
    NO 22LR
NO 22s of almost any kind except the ones that they use to set studs in concrete.

And for pistols, revolvers? Pretty close to nada - nichts, keine.

Long guns are now the biggies and shotguns (esp 870s) are in ZERO availability.
Mossie 500s and Mav 88s are 100% GONE!
PCCs are getting very scarce - even if there's no new ammo available for them.

Drudge. Heh. I just uninstalled it from my phone.
LIBS does not even begin to describe how far Drudge has turned.

Walked into my local Fleet Farm today and wandered to the sporting goods section out of habit, 2/3 of the pistol display cabinets were actually shuttered. Didn't even know they could do that.

Still had some shotshell primers and a few options for powder so not all was lost. Out of the dog food I went in for though, had to go elsewhere

I am afraid that I can say the same thing. I do just want to add this...

I don't have any clothes on, underneath my clothes.

The speaker in the video has his stuff together. I'd like to see thousands and thousands of clones of him out there speaking on behalf of the 2nd.

Personally, I'm in good shape ammo and firearms wise along with considerable components for reloading. Still, I have to balance more acquisitions with what I consider "reasonable". A real dilemma. Don

I am in pretty good shape on pistols and ammo now, but when things settle down I will be stocking up on ammo.

Nice! I have 3 rifles in 22 Mag. People underestimate the .22 Mag, but it can do serious damage to animals and rioter, should the need occur and the situation allows for legal application of such force.

Anybody make larger mags for that gun? A nice 15 round would be a good fit. Extra capacity without extending too much from the bottom.

    Answering my own question here:
Ruger BX-15 Magnum Rifle Magazine for Ruger American 15rd - $21

Is compatible with the Ruger Precision Rimfire chambered in .17 HMR and .22 WMR.
