Got a new G19, 4th Gen recently. I put 20 rounds thru it, then my friend did.
After his last shot, he ejected the magazine and the slide lock fell out on the ground! Luckily, he saw it.

I put it back in but it was just sitting there loosely, no tension whatsoever. I took the slide lock spring out and bent it upward to get some tension so it now holds the slide lock in place. I've written Glock but haven't heard back from them yet.

Anyone else have this problem?

Never heard of the problem until now? I would pick up an extra slide lock spring for sure!

Glock sent me a new slide lock and a new slide lock spring. All is good. I'm still using the original spring though. Just bent it up to increase the pressure and it seems to be OK.
