I pay the same pricing, I just picked up an M&P 9mm fullsize for $487 out the door.

I pay $480+ tax for Glocks as well, he is a private FFL out of Indiana

They tend to vary a little by region. In PA, a good price for a gen 3 G19 from a LGS is $509

Around here they are 499, sometimes can find them for little less. Now and then at gun show when two companys get into pissing match can get them for 425, but rare.

I'm in PA and I just got a new G19 Gen3 on Friday. Most places I checked wanted around $525 (one place even wanted $550). I got it for $499. I'd say you found a good deal.

Here in NC they are $540. Just picked one up just over a month ago. $480 would be GREAT around these parts. And $487 out the door for that guys M&P sounds like a deal as well. I would buy one every other month if it was that cheap. Lol

The local Academy store gets 529 for most Glocks, more for the bigger ones. I picked up a new Gen 3 G20 this past week for $464, but that doesn't count. (LE pricing)

That's a blue dot special. Active duty military, Military veterans, fire fighters, ems, and first responders, as well as LE, can get them for 464-475 at some places. Even gen 4.

Affirmative. I picked up a G23, Gen 4 (for sale, btw) the previous day for $398.20. Gotta love it.

455 plus tax and a 5 dollar background check in central fl...yet I still see people asking 600 dollar firm for their used glocks on the local gun trader website...selling to felons I guess...

Best I've done on a new 19 was $434 out the door (blue label of course). Best part is that was on my gillie.
I'd say $480 is decent and acceptable.
