Does anybody have a line on any 45GAP brass? Once fired or new. It doesn't matter.
They're out of stock and have NO idea when their next run will occur. I have my order in; Little Joe, the more we order, the sooner it'll happen.
I also have an order at Starline for GAP brass
For what it's worth I have about 30 pcs that I'd send you for cost of shipping.
It's 2 years worth of range pickups so I'm not expecting to have a worthwhile amount any time soon.
Little Joe, love your avtar... had that album (33 1/3) way back when...
my secret (of course it wont be once I hit submit) for obtaining GAP brass (bought my G37 back in Feb) - the guys that are selling TONS of 9mm and 40 brass on gunbroker (you know - those guys that are selling multiple lots of 1000,2000,3000 rounds) - you can PM them and ask if they have any 45 gap brass. Usually they do, but haven't collected enough to sell a thousand. I've picked up 400, 300, 500 rounds over the course of the last couple months that way.
I should get an order in to starline to help out the group though...

Just out of curiosity, what group is it... any particularly notable songs?
Lynyrd skynyrd... dont remember the album, had most of them.
My favorite songs: Curtis Lowe & call me the breeze (in addition to the all time favs: sweet home alabama & freebird)
my wife had me google album art and there it is "lynyrd skynyrds first" - though I remember their first album being called "pronounced lynyrd skynyrd" - so little joe could prob shed some light on it.
aint the intergnat great... )
Thanks for the tip on the brass.
ETA: Dang... I'm slow. Opened up a bunch of posts and just got back to this....
It's the cover shot of Lynryrd Skynyrd's 'First And Last' album(1978). It's a fantastic album with some great songs that never saw the light of day on the radio.
My favorites from it are:
Lend A Helpin' Hand - Hard rocking great tune.
Wino - Another hard rocking great tune.
Was I Right or Wrong
Comin' Home -
Things Going On
Down South Jukin'
The first 2 really should be in Classic Rock radio rotation.
I remember Was I right or wrong (cassie singing?) and love Things goin on (ithat you dont know). better get back to brass or they're going to kick us over to the just havin fun section! ...hope that suggestion helps on the brass.
You are correct. Their first album release was "Pronounced Lynyrd Skynyrd". These songs were recorded before they got the deal with MCA and remained in the can. They were released after the plane crash. Hence, recorded First, released Last.
One of my very all-time favorite bands.
and brings back "working for MCA" song too. yeah, agree, one of the best bands ever. Which album art had one of the guys holding the ruger super blackhawk? keeping in gun related... :O)
You mean the picture where Rossington is forcing Van Zandt to drink the bottle?
