Is this a good price ...should I steer clear of used gen 4's?

    Also what's the condition?
    Reliable round count?

All in all it would be a bad price ..

That's actually almost 100 over what LE pays. The OPs glock is overpriced

Sounds like a good price to me as long as it's in pretty good condition. If you have erratic ejection with it, you'll need to get the 28926 ejector installed and possibly replace the extractor. My Gen3 G27 had the ejection problem and it was fixed by the 28926 ejector and a replacement extractor.

    I got my used Gen3 G27 for $399, so $425 to $450 for a G4 sounds right.

    USED gen4? Hell no!

Brand new price is $425 LEO/GSSF.

Why pay that for a used?:faint:

    GLOCK 17, 17GEN4, 19GEN4, 26GEN4
    GLOCK 22, 22GEN4, 23GEN4, 27GEN4
    GLOCK 31, 32, 33
All above are suggested price of $425

Ok im not LE or anything where I can get a discount.....I live in DE so there is no sales tax .....its at a LGS and they don't charge for background checks.....I've bought used guns from them before ....so from what I gather $450 is a good price if its in good shape and your not LE

Gen4 for LE/first responder goes for about $425 w/3 mags

Since you can't really tell round count, use the firing pin and firing pin safety to see how worn it is if they let you. So far in my experience that's the best way to see how worn/used Glock pistols are. The wear on the finish is an indication of carry/holstering, not from firing the pistol.

    Hope this helps

    I am paying $579. for a brand new Gen4 G26.

I know all kinds of folks will chime in with the LEO/Military discount price, or how cheap they sell for in Hog Holler, WV....
but the fact is, a good condition, USED Gen4 G27 for $450 would be a solid deal around these here parts....(Hog Holler, Vermont )

As others have said, I've also gotten my blue label for $420.00 for my military discount.

Depending on the condition of the gun, I'd still like to see you get it below the discounted new price because it is still used.

In my case, the lady decided she needed utility bill money more than the Glock

    That's usually sound advice.

But, not much can go wrong with a Glock. The OP is looking at a gen 4, which makes it fairly new. And from what I've seen of Glock, if there is a problem, Glock will take care of it.

Here in CA that would be gone in less than 10 minutes. Seriously 10 minutes
