To be fair I still have the ****ty Glock sights on it. All my other Glocks have Trijicon XRs. I’ll give it another try and see what happens. Talon grip has shipped, so maybe that will help with the grip issue.

The 48 has become my favorite Glock. It shoots so nice, 100% original, except for hi viz front sight.

I have the hogue grip but prefer 2 layers of bicycle inner tube. The trigger will eat up my finger pretty bad so i take some band aids or althletic tape when i go to the range.Try a few more range trips before you sell the 43X.

I don't exactly have calloused fingers and yet the trigger on my 48 has never bothered me.

Hi all. This is my first posting in over 4 years. Anyway, i wanted to say i received a 43x about 3-4 wks ago to replace my 43. Put approx 400 rds thru it without an issue. Because its a carry gun i am fine with the trigger and i like the longer grip. I was happy with the 43. My goal is to get the thing out of the holster as fast as i can and place several rds near the middle of a target.the 43x does that, as did the 43. I also have a 42, 33, 27 ( for over 20 yrs) and have never fired one of the larger glocks. All i did with the 43x is change the sights which i did on the mentioned G’s. If i want to shoot for pinpoint accuracy, I shoot a baer or a k17. Very happy with each of my glocks.

The 43x has found a new home as of today. Gave it another try and just wasn’t satisfied with it. It’s all good as I sold it for more than I paid for it. So overall no biggie.

I carried a G19 for many years as my Duty Weapon but as with all my previous Glocks, I removed those Finger Grooves, then it fit my hand much better. After retirement I switched to the G43 & G48 because of the slim single stack design and I sold all my double stack Glocks. When I look at that rubber grip on your gun with those Finger Grooves, IMO this defeated the purpose of having a slim, single stack design but if it works for you, Good Luck!
